  1. The Secret Garden Amsterdam

404 visitsThis former secluded courtyard, known as The Secret Art Garden, became a vibrant canvas for over 200 street artists, including international figures like London Police and Shepard Fairey. Managed by its residents, Brian and Chinny, the garden had received recognition as a significant local cultural hotspot, but was lost due to urban development. This 3D reconstruction archives a unique, ephemeral street art location in the heart of Amsterdam following its scheduled demolition.

  9. Studio atelier of Wayne Horse

52 visitsWillehad Eilers (1981, Peine, Germany), who also works under the pseudonym Wayne Horse, is an Amsterdam-based artist whose practice spans drawing, video, performance and installation. Rooted in a background in graffiti and marked by playful humour and expressive, often grotesque figures, his work explores the absurd and flawed aspects of contemporary humanity. The 3D reconstruction presented here represents his studio atelier, offering a glimpse into the space where this work is conceived and developed.

  11. Boekie Woekie

43 visitsBoekie Woekie, books by artists, began paying rent for a tiny space in downtown Amsterdam on January 1st, 1986. It was then seen by its 6 founders as a shop for their own publications. After the first 5 years and some reshuffling of the group and with 3 of the founders left, Boekie Woekie began its second phase in a quite much bigger shop space around the corner and with a renewed concept resulting from the gained experience: the new shop opened for publications by others. In 2024 Boekie Woekie moved to its present address at the Geldersekade in Amsterdam. The 3D reconstructed space in front of you represents the longest residence (the second phase) of Boekie Woekie.
