BookmarkedAlien Abduction Phone Booth
The phone booths in Heber, Arizona, where Travis Walton reportedly reappeared after his alleged alien abduction, were located along the quiet and isolated stretch of the town in the 1970s. These booths, typical of their era, were likely made of glass panels framed in aluminum with a distinct, iconic "Bell System" logo prominently displayed on top. The design featured a folding glass door to provide privacy and protection from the elements, with a rotary dial phone mounted inside, accompanied by a small shelf for writing or resting belongings. Nestled in the rugged and sparsely populated surroundings of the Mogollon Rim, these phone booths offered a stark, almost eerie contrast to the remote wilderness surrounding Heber. The dim lighting from the booth's interior at night would have created a surreal scene amidst the darkened, quiet streets—a fitting setting for the climax of such an extraordinary story. The desolation of the area and the isolation of the booths enhanced the mysterious and dramatic nature of Travis Walton's sudden reappearance after his reported five-day absence. Today, the phone booths may no longer exist, but their memory is intertwined with the lore of one of the most famous alien abduction cases in history.Stories from Gaza
These stories were shared with Hanan in the ____Refugee Camp in southern Gaza where many residents have displaced numerous times. There are many orphans there. Hanan and a group of others have started a school, and hope to distract the children from what is happening around them.
