Graham Hall

This is a 3D model of Graham Hall (University of North Carolina). The images were downloaded from: https://www.demuc.de/colmap/datasets/ . 1270 of the 1273 photos were aligned in Agisoft Metashape (by trial and error). The collective quality of the imagery is pretty limited due to (1) changing focal lengths that may not all be properly recorded, (2) less than idea overlap of images, (3) a tendency in many places to rotate instead of move the camera, and shooting most all of the photos from the same ground height. More detailed models could likely be created from small sections of the building than from using all of the images as was done here to create a single model of the entire building. Despite all of these limitations in the capture that limit the quality, walking around the model still can provide a good mental visual understanding of the layout. A good physical dollhouse builder could certainly generate a more accurate model though.
