杉山衛生局長巡視の折、北部保養院の病死者を悼み送られた寄付を元に大正3年9月10日北部保養院慰藉会が建立。
Two weathered stone memorial pillars bear vertical Japanese inscriptions, with patches of moss near their bases. Japanese headings and labeled portal displays surround the monuments, and a black video panel stands between them.
