国鉄信越本線にあった熊ノ平駅の遺構です。熊ノ平変電所は国の重要文化財に指定されています。
This is the remains of Kumanodaira Station, which was on the Japanese National Railways Shinetsu Main Line.
The Kumanodaira substation is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
Railway tracks and a narrow platform run beside a weathered white industrial building, with overhead electrical wires and steel gantries spanning the line. Dense vegetation covers the steep hillside alongside the former station grounds.
