Hagurosan Yugami Shrine Torii Gate

At the entrance of Hagurosan Yugami Shrine, located in Higashiyama Onsen in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, there stands a vivid vermillion torii gate. A particularly large and magnificent hengaku (shrine plaque) is proudly displayed on it, immediately catching the eye. Beyond this gate, a long approach begins, consisting of 1,225 stone steps that lead up to the main shrine building at the mountain's summit.
