Newborn Souls - White flowering trees and dense greenery surround a curbed path scattered with pale petals. Handwritten text and colorful flower drawings appear among the foliage.

Newborn Souls

The space is based on a poem from 1900 by a Russian poet - Fyodor Sologub. Itis devoted to the transformative power of art and creativity, which are capable of enlivening and illuminating even the physical, inert matter. The approximate translation of the poem: "Not by mere chance to Earth unfolded The many-colored blooms we see — In them a secret art is molded, In them breathe God’s own dreams to be. What once was dull, inert, unfeeling, What lived in darkness, blind and dumb, Now, by the dew’s soft touch revealing, Is lit by day — alive, become. And in each flower, faintly swaying, In scents of innocence and grace, A newborn soul, through bloom conveying, Begins to tremble into place."
