Indian music has been enticing to me since I first heard it when I was young. It is designed as a yogic listening experience with complex rhythm cycles designed to captivate the listening mind into a kind of hypnotic focus. As one of the most complex rhythm traditions of the world, I knew I had to study this ancient art form.
