    峠駅 Touge Station snow shed - A long wooden snow shed (covered rail tunnel) with a central trackbed and slatted side walls that let strips of daylight through. The interior shows a vaulted timber truss roof and gravel floor with remnants of railway infrastructure.

    JR奥羽本線 峠駅に残るスノーシェッド（雪除けの小屋） かつてはスノーシェッドを抜けた先に峠駅はあったが、山形新幹線開業後は本線上にホームが設置され、旧ホームは廃止された。 かつての駅前には峠の茶屋が今も残る。
