Twilight Forest - A narrow dirt path winds through a stand of thin birch and pine trees under dim twilight. Lamp posts cast warm pools of light and there are wet patches or puddles on the ground.

Twilight Forest

Twilight Forest is inspired by the northern winter, where daylight is reduced to a short, muted twilight. The work explores a pressed emotional and living state shaped by this condition—a state in which prolonged darkness affects both the body and perception, and everyday orientation begins to weaken. The environment is structured around fragility and uncertainty. Paths resemble one another, locations lose clear identity, and movement no longer leads in a clear direction. Light appears only intermittently, not as a final destination but as something that must be searched for and held onto. The space reflects a continuous effort to find and protect this light, as the surrounding landscape resists stability and clarity. Rather than presenting a linear narrative, Twilight Forest exists as a sustained condition—one in which progression is uncertain, direction remains unstable, and the act of moving forward becomes an ongoing struggle rather than a resolution.
